Ryde District Heritage Centre
HRS is very grateful to Lee Byrne and Ryde Townscape Heritage Initiative for the grant which is enabling the society to restore the fabric of the basement of the Royal Victoria Arcade. Excellent news is the arrival of Hovertravel, who have agreed to sponsor a display in the centre, and allow us access to archives and models of early hovercraft.
Raffles
HRS is very grateful to businesses around Ryde who generously donated vouchers for the Christmas raffle, and especially to Bombay Palace, for their generous donation to the raffle at the St Patrick's Day Ceilidh event.
